Membership Drive
More Improvements
Curl Balmoral is in the process of making more upgrades during the off season. A prioity project will be to repalce the lighting over the curling ice surface inorder to provide better lighting but more importantly the new lighting will be more energy effiecient and therefore reduce our operating costs. We have received grant funds for this project and are in the process of lining up the company that will complete this upgrade for us before the season starts.
Honourary Life Members
Not since 1990 have there been any Honourary Life Members (HLM) recognized by Curl Balmoral so for many of this years recipients, this event has been long overdue. This acknowledgement is just a small token toward many worthy people in the Balmoral curling community. The following list of new HLMs will live forever in the history of the Balmoral Curling Club.

Three new Honourary Life Members (HLM) will inducted into this prestigious group at the 2009/10 Curling windup. Our new members are Elmore Llohmer, Eilleen Llohmer and Betty Latta. These three individuals along with the list of existing HLMs below will live forever in the history of the Balmoral Curling Club.
TV Raffle
We will again be raffling off a LCD HDTV that will be on showcase in our lounge throughout the season. This year's prize will be a 46" Toshiba Regza that has a MSRP of $1800.
